Knitting Pattern for Grace

Grace - WIP
For the past four weeks I have hosted mystery toy knit-a-long for Grace.
The mystery part is over and the final pattern is available now to purchase.
Grace is a special animal, the pattern offers three alternatives to make your own Grace, depending on the tail you decide to knit.

Knitting Pattern for Diamond Cowl and Hat

Diamond Cowl
I needed an instant gratification project. Something that knits up fast and looks great. This Diamond Cowl fits that description. The sample is done in Knitpicks Dapple Yarn but the pattern would look great in any super bulky yarn. The pattern is reversible and it took me less than three hours to make the cowl.
From the leftover yarn I made this Diamond Hat. It is also reversible pattern and is done within few hours.

Snowday projects

WIP
We have another snow day.... I must admit I like those unexpected snow days, when it's better to stay at home and enjoy the quiet moments. I had to pick between my two WIP projects and decide which one I should work on.

Last night I made the dough for the bread. This morning I baked it and we had a homemade fresh bread for lunch. I have been making this bread for few years now and everyone loves it.
I have found the recipe at Martha Stewart magazine and tried it and I have been making it ever since. The same bread recipe can be found in NY Times online. I am providing both links for anyone who would be interested in baking the bread.

Knitting Pattern for Ella, the elephant

Ella, the elephant
A friend of mine loves elephants. When her first child was born, I gave her Elmer the elephant. For her second child I wanted to give her another elephant, but different than her first child received.
Therefore I have created Ella, the elephant with hearts.

The pattern is available to purchase now in my Ravelry store, or by clicking on this button:

My friend also received Pavo Baby Blanket in matching colors.

The yarn I have used for this two items is Knitpicks Color Mist. I really enjoyed working with the yarn.

Thank you for visiting.
